What is leasing ?

Leasing is a long-term vehicle rental contract, with a buy-back option, for a specific period and a given mileage, the monthly rent of which may include, in the event of an operational lease, the assumption of several services (insurance,  maintenance, taxes, tire change, repair, …)

What are the advantages of leasing ?

  • Being able to change vehicles regularly without having to deal with selling the old one
  •  Simple means of financing
  • Possibility of redemption at the end of your contract
  • To have a fixed car budget per month
  • We take care of everything from claims management, registration and resale of your old vehicle
  • In case of operational leasing, maintenance, insurance tires are included in the contract

What is the duration of a contract ?

The duration of a contract varies between 2 and 5 years

Who is the keeper of the vehicle ?

Until the purchase of the vehicle, if there is a purchase, Cartrust is the holder of the vehicle.

How am I insured and who can drive the car ?

In case of operational leasing, the vehicle is insured CASCO, that is to say any risk.  Anyone with a driving license can drive the Cartrust vehicle.

What to do in case of an accident ?

The driver completes as carefully as possible and with as much information as possible a statement or report which must be sent to Cartrust within 48 hours, accompanied by photos, by mail or directly via our website. The original must imperatively be sent by mail in our services. In case of bodily injury, the driver must call the police and record the minute number.
As soon as the claim is made, a file is opened with the insurance and the repair procedure is transmitted by mail to the driver.

Where do I have to repair or maintain the car ?

Repairs or maintenance work must be performed, unless approved by Cartrust, in the vehicle brand network at Cartrust partner dealers in Luxembourg.

What to do in case of breakdown ?

In the event of a breakdown or accident, call CARTRUST ASSISTANCE with your license plate number, your name and the specific location of the vehicle.  In case of mechanical problem, a technician will go on site as soon as possible.  If your vehicle can not be repaired on site, it will be routed by Cartrust assistance who will be responsible for its transfer to a Cartrust partner.

How is the return of the car ?

At the end of the contract or in the event of termination, the renter must return the vehicle with all sets of keys, documents, accessories and equipment to Cartrust.  An appointment must be fixed maximum 48 hours before the return.
